If you don't know about Mr. Jackson the author or this book, let me mention some other notable African American authors so that you may have a idea as level of academia within this book. Joel A. Rogers; John Henrik Clarke: Carter G. Woodson; Lerone Bennett, Jr., Theophile Obenga, Chancellor Williams; Cheikh Anta Diop; just to name a few.The book is that good. It is not difficult to read and definitely not boring. An excellent read and must have for your library!
